We would like to share a great joy with you! Thanks to Divine Providence, the help of our sisters working in various parts of the world, as well as other benefactors, we were able to build and equip a kindergarten in the village of Buturu in Tanzania.
The kindergarten began its activity on January 7, 2019. First there was a Mass asking for God’s blessing on the new apostolic work of the Congregation, and later the sisters greeted the parents and their children who constituted the first group of kindergarteners. That day, thanks to benefactors, the children received extraordinary refreshments: juice and “mandazi” (i.e., donuts). The girls were able to get dressed in beautiful uniforms that were also a gift, while the boys are waiting for theirs to be sewn. There was much joy since the kindergarteners played with toys for the first time in their lives.
Our sisters in Buturu have begun a fund-raising action called ADOPTION OF THE HEART, the purpose of which is to find people who wish to financially support the education of a concrete child in the kindergarten. For more information, write to buturumission@gmail.com
